Before   After using Obagi Skin Care and Accutane therapy.

Accutane is a cure for many patients' acne and this patient took this acne pill for about 4 months. It's critical that enough Accutane is prescribed each day during this period (see prescribing information in the Physician's Desk Reference) or the patient likely will have problems with their acne again. After her Accutane course was done, she then used Obagi creams to bleach and clean up the irregular coloration left by the acne. Obagi creams are often very effective for darker skin types. This patient had her treatment in the early 1990's in Los Angeles by Dr. Yoho. We became friends and followed her over the subsequent years, and she still drops in to our Pasadena office occasionally to see us. She has been very successful with her personal and professional life.
