Before   Approximately one month after

This young woman met with Dr. Yoho because she felt self-conscious about her small breasts and wanted a shapelier look. In her consultation, she mentioned that she was worried about the possibility of scarring, so Dr. Yoho explained that he offers a number of minimal-scar approaches to breast enlargement in Los Angeles. The patient explored a number of options, including the transaxillary approach and the trans-umbilical approach, and based on her current shape and her aesthetic goals she and Dr. Yoho decided on the trans-umbilical approach.

In this approach, the surgeon makes a small incision inside the navel (belly button). Through this incision, he inserts an endoscope, a tiny camera that allows him to see his work clearly. Using special tools he creates a small tunnel to the breast tissue, where he creates a pocket for the implant. He inserts a temporary implant and inflates it with air to help him see how to refine the shape of the implant pocket, then replaces the temporary implant with a permanent one, which he fills with saline.

Only a month after her procedure, this patient is very pleased with the results of Dr. Yoho's breast enlargement surgery in Los Angeles. Her breasts look very natural for her body and chest size, and she has obviously been enjoying her new look out in the sun. As you can see, although it is still very soon after surgery, her skin is smooth and her abdomen shows no signs of irregularity from the procedure. Sometimes, very thin patients and those with slow-healing or sensitive tissues may experience bruised or firm areas that can persist for a few months.
